12th Generation Wave 2 servers give Dell partners flexibility to sell the complete stack

After a tremendously successful launch of the 12th generation PowerEdge servers in February, Dell recently rolled out the second wave of the new line of PowerEdge servers. This comprehensive group of blade, rack and tower servers contains all the great features of the initial 12th generation systems, and provides additional options to suit our partners’ customer needs regardless of the size of business they are supporting.

We’ve recently created a series of 12th Generation PartnerDirect videos to offer insights into the benefits of this server group to our partners. Some of them are now available on YouTube as well. In this one, Greg Davis, Vice President and General Manager of Dell’s Global Commercial Channel, discusses how these Intel-powered servers are designed to take advantage of today’s computing trends. This helps our partners increase operational efficiency and maximize profitability by becoming end-to-end solutions providers. Greg also highlights the importance of participating in Dell’s partner training program to fully optimize the 12th Generation server portfolio for customers.

The informative series also contains videos that offer PartnerDirect partners insights on key features for some of our top new servers. This video talks about the amazing Dell PowerEdge T320, a 2-socket tower server that’s perfect for small- to mid-sized businesses with consolidation projects and virtualization environments. The T320 is an ideal solution for customers needing to run database apps and general purpose business workloads.

Another video highlights the Dell PowerEdge M420, a 2-socket, quarter-height blade server that is perfect for customers with processor-intense apps and limited space. This small but mighty server contains double-down density for web hosting, collaboration and HPC.

The Dell PowerEdge R320 is featured in this video. The enterprise-class, 1-socket, 1U rack-mount server is designed to deliver the right combination of performance, redundancy and value in a dense chassis. The R320 caters to the growing need for virtualization by offering scalable processor performance, a large memory footprint and the capacity for up to eight hard drives.

The 12th Generation PartnerDirect page contains other great videos, including a training webinar on best practices for our newest servers and specific videos on these models: T420, M520, M820, R420, and R520, with more on the way!

Check out more details on all the 12th Generation PowerEdge servers to decide which ones are best suited to your customers’ needs. We’re excited to say that the latest group of servers gives our partners additional tools and flexibility that help them sell the complete data center stack. By doing so, they can become end-to-end solution providers and drive business opportunities with their customers to create long-term, profitable partnerships.
