Darlene Owens is a Global Supplier Diversity Program Manager for Dell Inc., one of 28 companies listed on the Billion Dollar Roundtable. She works with business partners in identifying qualified small, minority and women owned that can support Dell’s strategic business objectives. Additionally, Darlene manages the outreach program and global, national and regional external partnerships. Darlene is the board Treasurer of the Southwest Minority Supplier Diversity Council, chairs the finance committee and is the past chair of the Austin Regional Task Force committee. She also serves on the executive committee of the Technology Industry Group (TIG) and represents Dell on the Billion Dollar Roundtable. Prior to her current role, Darlene managed external strategic partnerships for Dell’s Global Diversity and Inclusion team and worked closely with the university relations, talent acquisition and employee resource groups to champion diversity and inclusion internally. Prior to Dell, Darlene spent nine years in non-profit as the Director for the Foundation for Women’s Resources where she managed the highly acclaimed Leadership Texas and Power Pipeline leadership programs for the top women leaders in Texas and throughout the United States.
