Better Security. Better Business: Partners Get A Deep Dive on Dell Security at Peak Performance

What do we mean by better security is better business?  Next week, we will be fortifying our security partners with cutting-edge expertise and education at Dell Security Peak Performance 2014, held at the Loews resort in Orlando, FL on Oct.12-15. This exclusive partner event will increase your knowledge of security products; maximize your revenue potential, and help improve customer relationships. Dell Security’s experts will be on hand to help you achieve “More Opportunity. Better Capability. Higher Impact.”

At Dell Security Peak Performance, hundreds of attendees will hear top executives and customers shed light on the challenges and solutions pertaining to the dark world of cybercriminals during the keynote and general sessions. And the industry is primed to hear it.  With the recent advent of Heartbleed and Shellshock vulnerabilities, you need to be as prepared as possible to protect customers  from threats and breaches, so the timing for this conference could not be better.  Not only will we have rich content discussion, but we’ll also have several compelling announcements for the partner community.

Executives Matt Medeiros, VP and GM of Dell Security; Marvin Blough, VP and GM, Dell Software Channel and Dave Hansen, VP and GM of Dell Software Sales, will kick off the event with the big picture of today’s security landscape and Dell’s commitment to innovation and channel growth. Our founder and CEO Michael Dell will provide his perspective on the security and channel landscapes in a moderated discussion with Matt Medeiros and Dave Hansen. “Securing and Protecting International Relief and Development” with Michael Crean, CEO of Solutions Granted, Inc., our premier partner, will discuss the results he achieved through our partnership, in providing protection to the International Relief and Development (IRD).

On day 2, Cheryl Cook, VP of Dell Channels & Alliances, will have the opportunity to share her perspectives on the future after nearly one year in this critical role at Dell. Together with John Gmuender, chief technology officer for Dell Security, I will deliver the morning keynote, “The Live Roadmap,” and I will also lead the complementary afternoon session “Engineering Deep Dive,” giving partners an unprecedented view into our development efforts and roadmap plans.

More than 25 technical deep dive and business breakout sessions will be delivered during the course of the week including:

I am enthusiastic to hear that partners expressed excitement about the return of the annual conference next week. “Dell SonicWALL’s partner program was always so good. I am excited about the return of the partner conference as it was always one of the best programs in the industry,” said Joshua Liberman, president of systems integrator and IT service provider NetSciences Inc.

We want to thank the sponsors and long-time partners in advance for their outstanding support of Peak Performance including: Tech Data, Inc., Securematics and IngramMicro. We all look forward to meeting with you and to help grow and build your businesses.
