Block and Defend Your Network with Connected Security at Dell World 2013

Next week, we will host thousands of global customers and partners to share insights and unveil Dell’s Connected Security products and solutions at the annual Dell World 2013 at the Hilton Austin and Austin Convention Center. The week kicks off with a welcome party at Dell World: Software User Forum (Dec. 9-12) | Dell World (Dec.11-13). In conjunction, we will hold our Dell Software Partner Conference. You will have a chance to hear breaking news and learn our vision for the future in the keynotes, meet with our security experts face-to-face, and engage in hands-on, instructional boot camp sessions, as well as drop-in, self-paced  sessions. Join us in the Security Demo Lab to get a sneak peek at the hottest new products.

How will Dell World transform and advance your IT security to fight today’s millions of cyber-attacks? Our security experts, who are combatting attacks on the front lines, will deliver a preview of our integrated product roadmap, and conduct deep dive sessions focused on identity and access management (IAM), network security, secure mobile access, data and endpoint security, and services for Dell’s end-to-end Dell Connected Security. Here are the security presentations:

  • Efficiency, effectiveness, productivity: Dell Connected Security in action
  • It’s all about protecting your data
  • Protecting the perimeter: From reactive to proactive to predictive
  • Hands-on experience with Dell's Connected Security solutions

In the dynamic Dell World Solutions showcase, you will discover live demos of the latest Dell SonicWALL SuperMassive 9000 Series, Network Security Appliance (NSA) 4600, and 2600 next-generation firewalls to protect your network. You can experience how we protect against evasions with sophisticated intrusion prevention (IPS); inspect SSL with high-performance, on-the-fly decryption; and provide extensive visualization and application control. In the BYOD for Client from the Client to Data Center area, we will demonstrate support for the broadest range of BYOD devices with Dell Data Protection | Encryption and Dell Secure Remote Access (SRA) Appliances, which enable granular access control and endpoint policy enforcement. Dell Identity and Access Management (IAM) will showcase their newest policy management offerings. Dell SonicWALL Threats Research and Dell SecureWorks Counter Threat Unit will exhibit world-class detection and response.

As we approach the exciting three days of Dell World, we are proud to note that our security program is rated number one in the IT industry in SC Magazine’s 2013 Security 500 Rankings, and is the recipient of a slew of additional 2013 awards, including multiple categories in each of the Tech Target 2013 Security Readers’ Choice Awards; Windows IT Pro Community Choice Awards; Best in Biz Awards; and 2013 SC Magazine Awards.  In addition, both Dell and Dell SonicWALL were ranked highly in the CRN 2013 Best Companies to Partner With program.
