You may have seen recent leaked Black Friday deals attributed to Dell and other retailers. We’ll have more information to share with you on Black Friday weekend deals as the holidays grow nearer – but needless to say, you’ll want to add “Shop Dell.com” to your Black Friday must-do list! In the meantime, you can take advantage of “daily deals” on Dell.com and get inspired to give the gift of technology t like the new all-in-one desktop, laptop or tablet itself and feed your loved ones’ passions and curiosity for years to come.
At Dell we’re committed to helping our customers find the perfect technology gift that can make a real difference for a kid, budding entrepreneur, or professional who wants to have a single device they can use to get their job done while keeping up with the demands of life. We are also committed to giving to our communities and important causes this time of year and inspiring our customers to do the same. Here are a few things we are doing and would love for you to get involved and share how you are inspired this holiday season using #inspire on Facebook and Twitter
- You may have read in the New York Times about our #Inspire 100 portion of our Inspired Gifting campaign that is scheduled to kick off this weekend. We’ll have more details to share soon here on Direct2Dell but in short, the #Inspire 100 list recognizes thinkers, designers and risk takers in entrepreneurship, philanthropy, education and media who use technology to empower and inspire others. We believe in recognizing those who inspire and contribute to positive world-changes through technology and hope you’ll join the conversation – #inspire.
- The #Inspire 100 list is part of Dell’s “Inspired Gifting” global holiday campaign that encourages everyone to give the gift of inspiration this holiday season. This is a natural fit for us as we have long been committed to inspired design and technology solutions that help people discover their passions, improve the world and achieve their dreams. We invite you to join us and get inspired!
- As the holidays approach, we also want to encourage all employees to give back. We know some of our friends, relatives and customers are facing very hard times as a result of Hurricane Sandy. At Dell, we are working hard around the clock to assist our customers impacted, and as of today, between our employees and the Dell match, we have pledged more than $40,000 to the American Red Cross and its local chapters in support of disaster relief. See Lionel’s post on Dell’s Hurricane Sandy support for more.
