Dell Global Support & Deployment Puts an End to “Whack-a-Mole”

As I head to Miami for Dell User Forum, it is hard not to think about Miami Vice—a television series that took America by storm in the 1980s.  With a heavy focus on the music and culture of Miami, it featured a colorful ensemble cast who often talked about the “whack-a-mole” nature of their work fighting crime.

Maintaining a complex IT structure can sometimes be likened to the game of “whack-a-mole.” You solve one pesky problem and another one pops up. That’s why Dell offers end-to-end services that start with consulting and deployment then go well beyond traditional break-fix support into the proactive realm. Dell offers proactive support tools such as TechDirect  and SupportAssist that accelerate resolution and provide predictive analysis that enables recommendations to help prevent issues from occurring in the first place.  Our services team is always here to be your partner through all of your IT problems. What would Sonny have been like without Rico? What would Crockett and Tubbs have done without their informant Huggy Bear and fellow Detective Gina Calabrese? Luckily, we will never have to find out.

In our cast of characters, we have a wide variety of offers to make sure your IT staff does not waste time playing “whack-a-mole” and can focus on important, strategic work. We love helping our customers succeed and seeing them save time by leveraging the experience and insights of our professional engineers.  Recently, we followed up with Host Europe to learn how they have freed up time, increased staff efficiency, and cut IT spend with ProSupport Flex for Data Center and TechDirect (full case study available on Dell.com).

If you are heading to Miami for Dell User Forum, pack your sunglasses and join us to learn more about how we can help support your organization’s end-to-end needs. Here’s what we have planned for you:
