Few cities and fewer brands are synonymous with music. Austin, home of Austin City Limits, and Dell are the exceptions. This year, we’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of the ACL Festival by making it more accessible than ever. We’re bringing it to you live.
Dell lives at the intersection of life and technology, and this year, for the first time in ACL’s 10-year history, the festival will be streamed live online enabling our customers and music lovers worldwide to enjoy the show. The live stream is being delivered through a partnership between Dell and AMD and is being produced by C3 and Arts + Labor. This is a great ‘end-to-end’ Dell story as Dell’s powerful Precision workstations with AMD’s processors are providing the computing power needed to stream the content from the ACL festival LIVE. Dell & AMD are sponsoring the ACL page on YouTube to bring it to the world in real time. Now you can join and jam to acts like Coldplay, Social Distortion and Foster the People right along with festival attendees and fellow fans from all over the world.
Sometimes, traveling thousands of miles to music festivals just isn’t feasible and our customers crave access, now. In fact, millions of you tuned in to the Dell-enabled YouTube stream of Lollapalooza, live from Chicago. For ACL, You Tube will feature a livestream that will broadcast multiple acts on two distinct ACL channels, streaming hours of live footage directly from the ACL Festival in Zilker Park. The webcast schedule is currently available online now. Go to http://www.youtube.com/aclfestival now to check out the live stream’s unedited content. It’s the next best thing to being there.
If you’re lucky enough to have an ACL ticket, come by and see us at the Dell Lounge. Escape the 100th day of 100 degree weather and cool off in our air-conditioned zone, play XBOX and win great prizes like VIP upgrades and tickets to Sold Out after shows. If you don’t have an ACL ticket, no problem… sit back, relax, join the ACL livestream and enjoy the show.
