We depend on our nation’s military to keep our country and families safe. Working with government customers, I am frequently reminded of the sacrifices our military and their families make to protect our country.
Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the 10th anniversary of USO Metro’s Stars and Stripes event, where Dell was named to the USO Metro 2013 Circle of Stars. Stars and Stripes unites USO-Metro supporters, members of the business community, wounded heroes from area military hospitals and local celebrities for one cause – to give back to those who bravely protect and serve our country, and their loved ones.
Every day, Dell supports our nation’s military through IT solutions and services, but we also believe it is necessary to go beyond the day-to-day to give back to the brave men and women who keep us safe. USO Metro offers programs for active duty troops and their families including emergency housing and food assistance, programs for children, support services for spouses and care for wounded, ill and injured troops and their caregivers. USO Metro touches the lives of thousands of our military service men and women.
