Dell Opens Solution Center in Herndon, Virginia

Earlier this week, we announced the opening of our Herndon Solution Center, the second center to open in the US. In April we announced that we were making a $1B investment in solutions this year; the solution centers are a major part of that investment and the center in Herndon is the fifth center to open of the twelve planned for this year.

The opening event was attended by a large number of customers, alliance and channel partners who were joined by many of our team members. After a tour of the center, Governor McDonnell officially opened the center, accompanied by Jan Uhrich, Vice President Services and Solutions Group, Lee Morgan, Executive Director Dell Solution Centers and Richard Pineda, Vice President Dell Services Federal Government. Guests were then given the opportunity to tour the center, meet the teams and experience some of our solutions at first-hand.
