Dell SonicWALL SuperMassive E10800 earned the highly coveted ‘Recommended’ rating from NSS Labs in the 2013 Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Security Value Map

SonicWall SecurityIt is my pleasure to announce that the Dell™ SonicWALL™ SuperMassive E10800 next-generation firewall (NGFW) once again has earned the highly coveted ‘Recommended’ rating from NSS Labs in the 2013 Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) group test. Dell SonicWALL was one of only four vendors to receive a recommend rating in the 2013 Intrusion Prevention System Security Value Map ─ which compares security effectiveness and value (cost per protected Mbps). This year’s test was especially challenging, with only half of the number of vendors earning the ‘Recommended’ rating compared to last year. What’s even more impressive is that Dell SonicWALL is one of just two vendors to earn a ‘Recommended’ rating for two consecutive years in both the NGFW and IPS categories.

This accomplishment is key as the Dell SonicWALL SuperMassive E10800 is an integral part of Dell’s comprehensive Connected Security portfolio, which offers tools that address challenges presented by today’s mega-trends ─ BYOD and mobility, big data and the cloud ─ to connect and protect enterprises of all sizes from the device to the datacenter to the cloud.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking everyone involved in earning this rating. To learn more, please visit our SonicWALL site.
