Dell Streak 7 Tablet Coming to the UK, France and Germany

The Wi-Fi-only version of Dell’s Streak 7 Android-based tablet will soon be available to customers in the UK, France and Germany, beginning March 14 via Dell.com. If you’re familiar with the tablet from when I blogged about it for the US launch, you have a good idea what to expect. The new Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi tablet will be available as of April 14, starting at £299 including VAT and delivery. For UK customers, full availability details will be available at http://www.dell.co.uk/streak. Pricing for France and Germany is €329 including shipping. A Wi-Fi + 3G option will be coming laser this spring.

Streak 7

The Streak 7 is our 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet that’s built on the dual-core 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor so it can handle just about any multimedia task you put in front of it. It features front and rear-facing cameras, stereo sound, an expandable memory slot and 802.11n for Wi-Fi connectivity. Dell’s intuitive Stage interface provides a simple way for you to access all your media files, whether you use the Streak 7 for watching videos, movies, pictures or browsing Flash-enabled web pages.

Here’s a quick video that shows you a lot of what the Streak 7 is capable of. If you have questions, please ask them below. Otherwise, you can follow the conversion via Twitter and the #dellstreak hashtag.
