Dell takes home Partner of the Year Awards at Microsoft WPC

For the past four years, Dell has undergone a transformation to evolve into an industry-leading enterprise solutions company that empowers its customers and partners through innovative technology and services.

This week, Dell’s transformation achievements were recognized at the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Houston, Texas. We are proud to announce that Dell was honored with seven Partner of the Year awards, including five from Dell Services.  Each year, Microsoft reviews more than 3,000 entrants from 106 countries and awards those that deliver innovative solutions for Microsoft technologies to help overcome challenges faced by customers.

Listed below are the award categories in which Dell took home the award, along with some photos from the conference.

  • YouthSpark Citizenship Partner of the Year for our employee engagement to support digital literacy and critical skills development for young people through the use of unique technology solutions.
  • Office/SharePoint App Developer Partner of the Year for our award-winning Social Hub app.  This is a free tool available on the Microsoft SharePoint App Store that enables users to view Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and RSS feeds within a single SharePoint site.
  • In the U.S. market, Dell Services received two country-wide awards: U.S. Windows Partner of the Year for their partnership across the entire U.S. Windows business (hardware, software and services) and, for the second consecutive year, the U.S. Windows Deployment Partner of the Year award.
  • Also for the second consecutive year, Dell Services received the Enterprise Alliance Partner of the Year awards in all three U.S. regions: West, Central and East.
