The Applications and BPO organization is at the core of Dell’s solutions transformation. Within Applications Services, we have established application modernization as our flagship proposition. The potential addition of Make Technologies, combined with the Clerity Solutions acquisition announced on Tuesday, positions Dell as the highest-quality provider for modernizing applications.
Together, the intellectual property, talent and capabilities from Clerity Solutions and Make Technologies will significantly augment the applications expertise offered by Dell Services to customers. We will now be able to better help customers with all their modernization needs—from re-hosting to application re-engineering.
The four key areas for our application modernization portfolio that I mentioned in my blog post on Tuesday are clearly visible in these two acquisitions. Our capability to re-host applications through their migration from legacy systems to standard architectures was expanded with the acquisition of Clerity Solutions. Now, our application re-engineering solutions and automated application and code migration are enhanced by the intended acquisition of Make Technologies.
