We’ve already talked about the double impact Dell and Dell Wyse are creating at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) this week, however we have even more exciting news that we’re announcing to our PartnerDirect community!

As you may have seen in Nicolas’ post on Inside Enterprise IT,  Dell released a new Reference Architecture for Microsoft Windows Server 2012. Composed of Dell server, storage and networking hardware as well as Dell Wyse endpoints, this end to end Dell and Microsoft solution utilizes Hyper V, App-V and RemoteFX to deliver an amazing (and secure) end user experience. It has been evaluated for a variety of user workloads and profiles mixing Terminal Services, pooled VMs and Personal VMs.

This solution is ideal for Microsoft-centric IT organizations focused on numerous delivery methods including Terminal Services, application virtualization and full desktop virtualization from 50 to 500 users. Microsoft VDI solutions are particularly attractive for partners and customers who already have a strong relationship with Microsoft to allow them to take advantage of existing licensing and purchasing agreements, particularly in the EDU and GOV spaces.

The DVS Reference Architecture for Windows Server 2012 helps partners and customers easily size and deliver the pre-tested Dell hardware components to support specific configurations of Terminal Service and VDI users. We’ve also made it easy for partners to order the specific datacenter hardware and Dell Wyse end points contained in reference architecture – simply contact your Dell sales associate for further details and to obtain a quote.

We invite partners attending WPC this week in Toronto to visit the Dell Wyse booth 531 for a sneak peak of this solution in action with Dell Wyse end points. And be sure to download the PDF of the DVS Reference Architecture for Windows Server 2012.
