Bags and carrying cases are part of a storied past as shown below (not in historical order). Its history includes the lesser-known, pre-historic gourd to some well-known iterations like messenger bags and backpacks. The most recent versions are the popular laptop bags and sleeves we see everywhere today. My personal favorite is the unforgettable fanny pack.
