On November 4, Gartner released its ITAD Magic Quadrant and Dell Services was named to the Leaders Quadrant. IT Asset Disposition is an often overlooked but inevitable phase of the IT equipment lifecycle. Indefinite storage of old or obsolete computer equipment is expensive and can clutter public areas and hallways.

In doing so, we do not permit electronic waste to be exported from developed countries to developing countries either directly or through intermediaries. To protect sensitive data we remove labels from equipment, overwrite readable hard drives with a 3-pass data wipe* and shred inoperable disks.
