Get out to the Ballgame with PocketCloud Explore

The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the temptation to leave work early for an afternoon baseball game is getting harder and harder to resist.  Just in time for spring, the PocketCloud team recently launched an update to its popular PocketCloud Explore app for Windows 8/RT in the Microsoft Windows Store.

PocketCloud Explore is part of the PocketCloud family of apps that lets you easily make your mobile devices, computers, and cloud storage into a "personal cloud", enabling amazing productivity and satisfaction from the ability to search, view, organize, and share any of your files, even while catching the Giants’ season opener.

With the PocketCloud companion on your PC or Mac, there’s no need to stay at your desk. All of your personal and corporate content on your PC is at your fingertips from any Android, iOS, and now on any Windows 8/RT device.

PocketCloud is not just your average cloud storage solution – while other third party cloud storage sites also offer anytime, anywhere access to files, you have to go through the process of uploading them from your PC and potentially face costly services charges and security risks. Rather than go through a vendor for access to your own files, transform your computer into a personal cloud with PocketCloud Explore.  The application also allows you to share files with other users and now comes with 2GB of free Cloudbin storage for access to content not stored locally on your PC or Mac.

Adding to the ability to search and view files on remote Macs or PCs in the first release, the updated PocketCloud Explore for Windows 8/RT includes the ability to move/copy multiple files concurrently among your mobile devices, computers, and Cloudbin, and a unique feature that lets you instantly share the results of a file search in your personal cloud. A Premium subscription in-app purchase provides access to any number of computers, larger files transfers up to 1GB, and free access to Premium services when using the other PocketCloud products – Remote Desktop and Web

The PocketCloud companion is also pre-installed as standard on all Dell XPS and Inspiron computers, including the new XPS 18, to give Dell customers the ability to access and manage their devices and digital content, personal or corporate, from their smartphones or tablets.

Along with the peanuts and Cracker Jack, make sure you have PocketCloud Explore on your mobile device this baseball season to stay productive and not miss a moment of your favorite team in action.
