Introducing Dell Fresh Air

Topics in this article

Dell recently added Fresh Air validation to select Enterprise products that allows companies to run hardware in the data center at extreme temperatures and humidity levels. We previously warrantied these products for such conditions and have now added validation with supporting white papers. Fresh Air products include server models such as the R610, R710 and T610, select Powerconnect switches and Dell Powervault MD and Equallogic PS 4100 and 6100 series arrays. A complete list of validated hardware is available on the partner portal.

How much does Dell charge for this power-saving solution? Nothing. All Fresh Air systems will include validation at no additional cost. As a Dell Channel partner you should take advantage of this great new opportunity when having conversations with your customers around the data center and the energy consumption challenges they face.

With Fresh Air, you can help your customers save Capex and Opex and allow them to spend more on innovation rather than keeping the lights on. Fresh Air is a great way to differentiate you and Dell as the right choice in the data center. Dell is the first tier 1 vendor to take this critical step so take advantage now and be among the first partners to engage in these discussions.
