New Dell Imaging Solutions Combine Cloud Document Sharing Services and Smart Features for Better Collaboration

Today Dell is excited to reveal its Dell Document Hub cloud service which lets users share, create and print across many common cloud document platforms.  Along with the new service, Dell also announced four new printers: a color multifunction (C2665dnf), color single function (C2660dn), and two mono multifunction printers (B2375dnf and B2375dfw).

Dell’s affordable and flexible imaging solutions improve collaboration from different devices, making Dell printers easy to connect, manage and own for businesses of all sizes. With simple, quick support and maintenance, Dell’s imaging solutions help companies to collaborate and share digital data and print from devices without disrupting IT processes.

With single sign-on, the Dell Document Hub (Doc Hub) lets users share, create and print across many familiar cloud document platforms including  Box®, Dropbox®, Google Drive™, Microsoft® SkyDrive® and Microsoft® SharePoint® Online – all together from one access point. This unique feature solves the problem of managing documents from several cloud services and platforms and lets users edit and collaborate with scanned hardcopies. Dell’s Document Hub feature’s settings can be personalized through the Dell Document Hub portal and is found through an app on Windows 8/8.1/RT devices and through the new Dell Color Multifunction Printer C2665dnf.

The Dell C2665dnf Color Multifunction Printer is the first to feature smart document capture, converting hardcopies to editable files with cloud Optical Character Recognition (OCR) directly from the printer[1]. With Dell Document Hub, the printer enables seamless collaboration across cloud platforms and connects from multiple operating systems. It also allows aggregated file search across multiple clouds at once and preview of up to 10 files (with up to 3 pages per file). NFC-enabled for convenient “Tap and Print,” users can operate the printer like a smartphone. Including a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, the C2665dnf supports the Dell Mobile Print app (Android), AirPrint and Google Cloud Print Direct to allow printing from a majority of mobile devices. The printer also enables users to scan documents directly from the printer to a variety of places, including FTP, Email, USB and PCs. These features combine to make the C2665dnf the world’s smartest color multifunction printer!

The new feature-rich and connected mono MFP B2375dnf and B2375dfw printers, also connect with cloud platforms, Google Drive and Microsoft SharePoint Online directly from the printer. Easy and convenient to use, they both include a 4.3-inch color touch screen, DADF for easy scanning/copying, fast print speeds, a high duty cycle and comprehensive security features. Its intuitive operation panel, the easiest to use in its class,[2] and Nuance PaperPort 14 document management software, enable digital representation and easy document management as well as multiple scan-to destinations, including cloud services and platforms.

The new Dell Document Hub, C2660dn, C2665dnf and B2375dnf and B2375dfw will be available October 24, 2013 on Dell.com and starting early-November on Staples.com, with prices starting at $379 for the C2660dn, $559 for the C2665dnf and $449 for the B2375dnf/dfw.
