We launched a new site today called Dell Social Innovation Competition. Using the same IdeaStorm technology, Dell is partnering with the RGK Center at the University of Texas to sponsor a competition for college students around the world to come up with new ideas to address social causes. The winner of the competition will receive $50,000 to fund their venture! You must be a college student (undergrad or graduate) at a 4-year university to enter, but anyone can comment and vote on the ideas. Learn more about the competition on Direct2Dell.
If you are in college or know someone in college – encourage them to enter. If not, you can show your support by voting and commenting on the ideas! There are 3 rounds of competition, so come back to see the semi-finalists and finalists until the winner is announced in May.
