New Lineup of LED Displays for Consumer Systems

Dell Studio Line of LED panels

I know we haven't been the best about including information on our new monitors here on Direct2Dell. I hope to change that a bit moving forward. Today, we rolled out a new line of LED displays that make great companions to Inspiron and Studio desktop and notebook lines.

We're introducing four sizes of LED displays to our monitor lineup: 20, 21.5, 23 and 24-inch. All of these displays are available today in the United States. The 20 and 23-inch models are available globally. Besides the US and Canada, the 24-inch monitor will be available in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Compared to regular LCD panels, these new monitors feature LED backlighting, something that's similar to LED backlighting we've used in laptop displays. These displays are designed to balance a great multimedia experience, energy efficiency and price. If you use your desktop or laptop to view pictures and play high definition video or movies (like many of our customers these days), these monitors are worth a look in my opinon.

All of them are Energy Star 5.0 compliant and feature a typical response time of 5ms. They all feature a new slimmer design and all allow can be tilted to accommodate a range of heights. All but the 20-inch display support 1920 x 1080 resolution which means you can enjoy true high definition content like Blu-ray movies at 1080P.

You can take a look at these and other Dell monitors by checking out www.dell.com/monitors.  You'll also be able to see these new displays at retail partners like Best Buy.
