Recognized Channel and Sales Expert Steve Pataky Joins Dell Security

As we kick off the New Year, I’m delighted to share that Steve Pataky has joined the Dell Security Solutions team as Vice President of Worldwide Security Sales.

Steve brings with him more than 25 years of experience and an industry reputation for architecting and executing global sales, channel and go-to-market strategies. He’s also well recognized for building world-class teams, innovative enterprise/commercial sales motions, and comprehensive Field/Partner programs that drive partner-fueled revenue growth. He’s been a recipient of the CRN Channel Chiefs award for the last several years, and was among the magazine’s 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs in both 2014 and 2015.

Steve joins us from FireEye where he served as vice president of worldwide channels and alliances. Prior to FireEye, he held domestic and global channel sales and development roles with NetScreen, Juniper Networks, Vertical Networks and 3Com.

This is an optimal time for Dell Security Solutions. We’re actively driving an industry-leading product portfolio across network security and identity and access management, ramping up R&D, and leveraging our strong global base of solution partners. In fact, our continued innovations around Dell SonicWALL solutions have been validated by NSS Labs for the third year in a row with the highest rating of “recommended” in the 2014 Next-Generation Firewall Security Value Map. Our Dell One Identity solutions continue to be the best platform solution for identity governance, with our privileged account management solutions being the broadest, most complete offering in the industry, and Cloud Access Manager enabling secure, adaptive access to cloud-based and web applications. Also, as recognition of our product leadership in the last year, we received more than 20 industry awards for the Dell Security Solutions portfolio during 2015. We’ll be sharing more updates to our solutions as we move towards RSA 2016.

Lastly, I’m excited to announce that Steve’s onboarding formalizes our shift to a partner-led selling model across Dell SonicWALL and Dell One Identity, with the goal of every customer being able to leverage a high-value security solutions provider.
