Social Media and Dell at #Educause10

Dell is a gold partner for Educause 2010, the higher education information technology event. If you are planning on attending Educause or participating online the Dell team would love to connect with you.

Are you getting social this year? Educause has made significant investments in social media tools for the community to make the most of the discussions including experimenting with specific hash tag discussion threads for each session.  It's one month away and already we are seeing some excitement building up via blogs and twitter from folks like Eric Stroller and Joshua Kim. @FedericoatDell and @Edu4U will be joining the online conversation and tweeting/blogging from event. If you want to connect in person with Dell's Education social media team please send us a tweet.

The bulk of the Dell team at Educause will be on our both (#1800) in the Exhibition hall where we have six end-to-end solutions demo areas for the Higher Education market.  We hope you come and see us and as a small incentive we have planned giveaways and a prize draw from the booth.

Also we will be managing a panel session on cloud computing and conducting workshops (detailed below).

How do you balance availability vs. security, support student success, the likelihood of adoption and costs against one another? Join Dell and a panel of your peers to hear the approach they have been taking.
