Since we all need a reason to do things, I thought I would put together a short list of reasons why I think you should attend Dell World 2012 this year.
What is Dell World you ask? Dell World is an event that brings together technology professionals to discover their own power to do more by learning from one another as well as identifying opportunities presented by the key forces changing business today. Dell World highlights available Dell solutions across a wide range of industries.

Why should you be there? Below, in no particular order, are 6 reasons that I think you should attend Dell World.
- Opening event – Austin City Limits is the longest-running music show on television. It began with a pilot performance by Willie Nelson in 1976. In February 2011, the legendary show got a new home- Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. Dell World 2012 will open on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. Our live music lineup will be announced soon!
- Small crowd gathering with global thought leaders – With a tailored agenda, this is a great event to engage and have two way conversations with technology leaders from all over the world.
- Gain insights on how Dell will continue to bring end to end solutions especially with recent acquisitions of Wyse, SonicWALL, Quest, AppAssure, Clerity, Make, etc ). Learn how Dell will leverage the capabilities of these companies to create end to end solutions.
- Technical breakout sessions – These sessions are aimed at IT professionals to share best practices with Dell enterprise solutions
