According to a recent survey commissioned by Dell and conducted by IDG Research Services, two-thirds of current or potential Hewlett-Packard customers with more than 500 employees are concerned by HP’s changes in business strategy and leadership. Respondents indicated that Dell would be the largest beneficiary if HP discontinues its PC business. Of the respondents who stated they would consider alternatives for their PC purchases, 79 percent listed Dell as their top choice. Additionally, nearly half of the respondents (45 percent) believe it is important for their technology vendors to offer complete, end-to-end solutions.
